Thank You Volunteers!
A lot of work was done as a volunteer effort at
the waterfront this year. This with donated
material and done at no cost. A berm now
provides significant erosion protection from
severe NE or NW high sea states. Thanks to all
that stayed alert for useful material. And thanks
to Chip Cousino for support with his large
tractor. Numerous fishing amenities are now
provided. We wish to organize and expand
efforts there with a genuine committee of
interested volunteers.
Work for Credit (WFC)
Reduce your Membership cost by up to $100! Sign
in at any of our Community volunteer activities
(e.g. Spring or Fall work parties) and receive a $10
rebate for each hour you volunteer, up to $100.
It’s that simple, and children are welcome at most
activities. In fact, they can also earn Community
Service hours. Show up or call any board member
to receive WFC hours.
Many tasks remain, including: Pier repair,
navigation light and marker replacement,
landscaping improvements, replacement of the
information sign and re-installing the cable to
the piling that was replaced last year. Users
may have added suggestions. Lacking
interested volunteers many possible-beneficial
actions will remain undone. Call Rollie Campbell Lorie. If you lose your card, it will be de-activated and
at 240-298-8966 if you are interested in
supporting this work and wish to be part of a
waterfront committee. Or have further
suggestions. We can schedule a committee
meeting at the fall annual meeting if interest
exists.

Cost
Residents (Owners/Renters) $330.00
Associates (Requires HSCA Sponsor) $375.00
(See “Work for Credit – Page 3” to save up to $100!)
HSCA Membership Includes:
1) Pool Use – Pool is open Memorial Day Weekend
through Labor Day weekend. Bring your
membership card to show the lifeguard each time
you visit.
2) Pool and Pool House Rental – For $60 you can
rent the pool and/or pool house before or after
normal pool hours.
3) Keycard access to Beach Area and Boat Ramp
Keycards are re-activated each year with your
membership renewal. New members will receive
one card per membership. See Gate Access Card
below.

Keep your Gate Access Card active by renewing your
membership before or at the Spring Meeting.
Card Not Working? Contact Lorie at 301-373-5456.
New members receive one card per membership. If
you have any questions or problems, please contact
Lorie at 301-373-5456. Please turn in old cards to
a new one will be issued. Do not let others use your
card. This action can result in the loss of your Gate
Access privilege.
How Can I Pay??
1) Come to the Spring Meeting – Preferred Method
2) Mail checks to: HSCA, P.O. Box 397, Hollywood,
MD 20636. We will mail your membership cards.
3) Contact Lorie @ 301-373-5456 & please leave a
message.
