Work for Credit (WFC)
Reduce your Membership cost by up to $100! Sign
in at any of our community volunteer activities (e.g. the list send an email to phoenix@md.metrocast.net,
Spring/Fall work parties) and receive a $10 rebate
for each hour you volunteer, up to $100. It’s that
simple, and children are welcome at most activities.
In fact, they can also earn Community Service
hours. Show up or call any board member to
receive WFC hours.
Want to be a Lifeguard?
We need three (3) new Lifeguards next year.
We pay ½ of lifeguard and pool operator
certification costs. Go to:

Please consider volunteering. New members bring
fresh ideas and enthusiasm.
Off-Road Vehicles
Our community has experienced people unsafely
and illegally operating unregistered motorcycles,
dirt bikes, off-road and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs)
on roadways and on private property. This has
resulted in damage to community property,
excessive noise and damage to community
property. Please do not let your kids be a part of the
problem. Also, report such violations to the police.

Just a few mailings to keep you informed. To get on
contact us on our website, or write your email address
on your lot fee notice.
HSCA Membership Includes:
1) Pool Use – Pool is open Memorial Day Weekend
through Labor Day weekend. Bring your
membership card to show the lifeguard each time
you visit. Check website for Pool Rules.
2) Pool and Pool House Rental – For $80 you can
rent the pool and/or pool house before or after
normal pool hours. Visit our website, complete the
Pool Rental Form, and bring it to the Pool Manager.
3) Gate access to Beach Area and Boat Ramp
Keycards are re-activated each year with your
membership renewal. Keep your Gate Access
Card active by renewing your membership
before the Spring Meeting. New members will
receive one card per membership.
Card Not Working? Contact Lorie at 301-373-5456.
Please turn in old cards to Lorie. If you lose your card,
it will be de-activated and a new one will be issued for
$5. Do not let others use your card. This action can
result in the loss of your Gate Access privilege.
How Can I Pay??
1) Come to the Spring Meeting – Preferred Method
2) Mail checks to: HSCA, P.O. Box 397, Hollywood,
MD 20636. We will mail your membership cards.
3) Call Lorie @ 301-373-5456 & leave a message.
Keep Playground & Waterfront Clean and Safe
Take care of your Community Property. Pick up your
trash and dog poop help us keep the area clean.
Beach Parking
The community property (Pool and boat ramp) is for
use by paid members and their guests. There is
a curfew from 10 pm to 5 am. Hollywood Shores
residents who are not members may walk to the
waterfront. Non-residents (that are not members) are
not authorized access to the community waterfront.
Enjoying our Waterfront?
Be advised that swimming at the waterfront is
dangerous due to fast currents. Please do not leave
trash, dislodge rocks, start fires, or create excessive
noise.
