Budget Committee Report – The purpose of this committee is to prepare a new budget for the following year, in time for
presentation at the spring meeting.

Beach/Erosion/Waterfront Committee Report – The waterfront (WF) function of Hollywood Shores has had an
active committee this year with a lot of accomplishments. We have now eliminated debris & dirt piles and established
grass over most of the area. Many other tasks were completed.

Landscape Committee – We have been lucky to have volunteers help with weeding, planting, and maintaining our
flower garden areas. Plant donations are appreciated.

Maintenance Committee – We continue to address repairs needed on the many aging systems and structures
associated with our pool and waterfront. As always, we are winterizing all pool systems and cleaning/servicing/storing
pumps, filters, and chemical feeder for the winter.

Playground Committee Report – We hope to install a basketball court near the pool but have not accrued adequate
funding yet.

Pool Operating Committee –This committee is responsible for monitoring operations (lifeguards, cleanliness, etc.) as
well as editing/updating pool rules and lifeguard documents as required. We are in great shape this year as we have
many Lifeguards.

Website Committee – Visit our website for pool party reservation form, pool regulations, deed restrictions, by-laws,
lifeguard application form, board member info, and a “contact us” link to email questions and concerns. Follow us on
Facebook to share info with neighbors. Check these sites often to keep up with the latest!

Jones Wharf Road Clean Up Committee - We need your help! Be part of the solution! Get your cardio in, we are
scheduling Saturday, November 4 to walk and clean up Jones Wharf Road. It usually only takes 2-3 hours.

Facebook: Our community Facebook page is a great place to share info with neighbors. We can set up groups to focus
on services, activities, or committees. We currently have a Waterfront Committee group and more can be added.
