*Notes were taken by Pam LeFave as Jim Ball (Secretary) was out of town
        • Introduction of Board & Community Members (Lorie Nicholson)

        • Reading of the Fall 2021 Meeting Minutes (Lorie Nicholson)
                                                                                                      nd
After Lorie read the Fall 2021 Minutes, a motion to approve was made by Pam LeFave with 2 from Mark
            Hunt. All were in favor.

        • Approved Budget & Actual Expenditures (Mark Hunt)
The group reviewed the provided report from Mark. Rollie Campbell questioned the income based on his
understanding of checks/bills for waterfront expenses. Also questioned phone expenses. Rollie expressed
his belief that this could be done more cost effectively. Ultimately Rollie made a motion to approve report
with 2 by Jim Haley. All were in favor.

              Old Business
            1. “Work for Credit” Membership Program: Each Year the Hollywood Shores Community Pool & Property
must be maintained (cutting grass, trimming, weeding, mulching, cleaning, painting, etc.). In addition,
the Pool House, Pool, Pump House, Waterfront, Piers and associated systems are constantly in need of
cleaning and maintenance. In 2006 the Board recognized, and developed a program, to address this
need. Specifically, it was determined that either more funding, more volunteer effort or both is
required. The “Work for Credit” program allows Members to be credited for tasks benefiting the
               community. Policy is as follows:
            • Full Years Membership must be paid in advance in order to be eligible to participate in this Program
(Special exceptions will be considered if brought before the Board)
            • Tasks must be performed between October of prior Year and September of current Year
            • Tasks to be accomplished must be either selected from the approved list or Board Member approved
(Participants may propose other tasks for approval)
            • Hours per task are assigned for each task in advance (and are generous!)
            • All Materials needed (Lumber, Nails, Paint, Rags, Brushes, Etc.) are provided by the HSCA
            • On task completion, a HSCA board member will inspect and confirm task was completed, and fill out a
“Work for Credit” voucher for submission to HSCA Treasurer
            • Participants will receive $10 per Hour Credit for approved tasks
            • Maximum credit is $100 (10 Hours)
